February 23 Berkeley Mixer Invite

Hope you and the club are doing well. What a great start to the ski season!

As you may recall, Scott Stell and I were members of the Oakland Ski Club for two years. Unfortunately the COVID shutdown of the OSC lodge forced us to seek loading elsewhere, but we did enjoy our time as members!

We are still ski patrollers with Sugar Bowl and there is a local event at the California Ski Company ski shop in Berkley coming up on February 23rd to which we’d like to invite OSC members. There will be representatives from several different ski patrols from many of the local resorts. This will be a great way to hear what it’s like to be a weekend and volunteer ski patroller, support the Donner Summit Avalanche Dog program, potentially win some cool stuff and meet others that share a similar passion.
